![]() The duvet cover is from Pottery Barn a few years ago. They are great quality, are true blackout curtains, and they don’t break the bank! We used the same striped curtains we used in Little Man’s room, just in purple. I love the way the curtains frame out the bed on this wall! Because the windows go across the entire stretch of wall, we had to use a total of four curtain panels to cover the entire wall. It’s not the sturdiest trundle, so we use it to store things that we don’t need to access frequently. We eventually added a trundle to the bed for extra storage. Seeing the attic door peeking out over the top of the daybed looked funny and crowded. We tried the bed out in front of the short attic door for a while, but recently moved it back under the windows. We landed on a daybed centered under the windows, since that was the largest wall. Her room is teeny tiny and has five doors (yes, you read that correctly!), so trying to figure out how to situate a bed was very tricky. Thankfully, her love for purple has prevailed and we didn’t have to start over as she grew! ![]() New curtains, fun lights, a vanity, decor, and a bean bag chair make the room feel complete. Now that she is older, we’ve made the final push over the past year to finish up her big kid room. We wanted to make sure the decor we ended up with would stand the test of time! Because she was so little when we started her room, her tastes and interests have rapidly changed, so we’ve taken our time getting to the finish line. When she grew out of her crib, we bought her a big kid bed and kicked off her room with freshly painted walls in Sherwin Williams Iceberg, new bedding, and a rug. It has morphed from her original purple, “Elsa blue”, and monkeys requests into the colorful, girly room it is today. Unlike Little Man’s Star Wars room that I redid in a weekend, Little Girlie’s room evolved over time. Whew, this post was years in the making! Literally!
